Pauline Allomes

Pauline Allomes is an award-winning artist based in Whanganui, New Zealand.

She works in metalpoint, micrography, and painting to capture the beauty of nature and convey messages about protecting the environment.

In her intricate metalpoint drawings, Pauline uses metal and light to bring nature to life. Her micrography works showcase tiny, graceful handwritten script flowing into captivating art. Acrylic paints bring an organic, fluid quality to Pauline's paintings.


Pauline creates limited edition archival prints from her works in various sizes to make her art more accessible. Her work has been exhibited and sold in solo and group shows nationwide.


Recently, Pauline won the People's Choice and Best in Class Awards at the 2023 Waimarino Art Awards. She continues to win recognition in competitive exhibitions,  Pauline has also been accepted many times at Pattillo Whanganui Arts Review held at the Sarjeant Gallery. With over 20 years of art study and practice, Pauline teaches workshops and exhibits new drawings, micrography, paintings, and prints from her Whanganui studio and gallery.
